CanPrev Iron Bis-Glycinate 20 Women, 90 Vegetable Capsules

CanPrev’s Iron Bis-Glycinate 20 contains iron bis-glycinate, a chelated iron that is easy to absorb, gentle on the stomach and doesn’t cause gastrointestinal upset like those that contain ferrous sulphate.

Each capsule contains 20 mg of elemental iron in every tablespoon, and is enhanced with vitamins C, B6, B12 and folate, all cofactors that help in the absorption and assimilation of iron for the production of healthy red blood cells.

Each capsule contains:

• Vitamin C (sodium ascorbate), 300 mg

• Magnesium (Albion™ magnesium bis-glycinate chelate buffered (magnesium bis-glycinate chelate, magnesium oxide))*, 42 mg

• Iron (Albion™ ferrous bis-glycinate chelate)*, 20 mg

• Vitamin B6 (pyridoxine hydrochloride), 25 mg

• Vitamin B12 (methylcobalamin), 400 mcg

• Folic Acid (L-5-methyltetrahydrofolate), 400 mcg

• Copper (Albion™ copper bis-glycinate chelate)*, 35 mcg

Directions

Adults (19 years and older) - Take 1 - 2 capsules per day with food. Take a few hours before or after other medications. 400mcg of folate per day is adequate for most women to reduce the risk of neural tube defects. Ask a healthcare practitioner to determine if you would benefit from additional folate before taking this product. 

Cautions & Warnings

Stop use if • hypersensitivity occurs. When taking this product • some people may experience constipation, diarrhea and/or vomiting. Keep out of reach of children. There is enough iron in this package to seriously harm a child.
