About Us

A Story That Sparked a Mission

A journey of healing that inspired change.

As a pharmacist and educator, I thought I'd know how to navigate the system. I didn't expect to feel lost in it.

After a traumatic miscarriage, I found myself overwhelmed—by grief, by unanswered questions, and by gaps I hadn't noticed until I was the one standing in them. That experience reshaped how I see women's health care, especially in midlife. It revealed how fragmented the path can be, and how often women are left to piece it together on their own.

I began to notice a pattern at the pharmacy counter: women searching for relief from hot flashes, fatigue, insomnia, and anxiety. Many were reaching for natural health products, black cohosh, magnesium, maca, St. John's Wort, often without a clear sense of what would actually help, or what might interact with their medications.

Not because they were careless. Because they were tired, and because the spaces available to them weren't built for the kind of conversation they needed. Retail pharmacists are skilled and willing, but the setup rarely allows for depth.

Why We Started This Consultation Service

We wanted to build something different: a structured space where women are fully heard, and where their questions get the time they deserve.

Our pharmacist-led service offers:

  • A comprehensive review of medications, supplements, and health goals

  • Evidence-based screening for drug–drug and drug–NHP interactions

  • Personalized guidance that reflects your preferences and priorities

We partner with you and your prescriber to help you feel confident in your care and protect your health as you age.

You deserve care that's informed, compassionate, and centered on your story.

Our Commitment to Care

Pharmacist-Led Care, Designed for Women

There are millions of biochemicals in the human body. Have you ever wondered how the drugs, hormones, supplements, natural heath products interact with your body? What if they don't interact with each other well? Would one reverse the effects of another?

This is what pharmacists are trained to do - to evaluate the "drug-drug interactions" of all that you are taking. There's a big but! Pharmacists are too busy - meeting the every day demands of filling prescriptions, juggling phone calls, answering dosage questions, and more often than not, which aisle one can find the chips. When do they have time to go through a comprehensive medical review? This is why Elix Health is born.
