Medication Review
$150 (45 minutes)
Who's it For? Individuals taking multiple medications or those with chronic conditions.
Make sure your treatments work together—not against each other.
A medication review is a structured, one-on-one consultation with a pharmacist to evaluate a patient's prescription drugs, over-the-counter medicines, and natural health products. It ensures medication safety, effectiveness, and appropriateness while identifying potential interactions or side effects. The session results in a personalized management plan to improve health outcomes and simplify complex regimens.
Key Aspects:
Purpose: to optimize medication use, reduce risks of adverse events, and ensure understanding of treatment.
a) Safety & Efficacy: Identifies unnecessary, ineffective medications and drug-drug interactions.
b) Side effect management: Addresses unwanted side effects to improve quality of life.
c) Understanding: Enhances patient confidence in managing their health.
We check for hidden conflicts between your medications and supplements. Whether you’re on HRT, antidepressants, thyroid meds, or just unsure about what’s helping, we’ll ensure your plan is safe and effective.
This service is suitable for everyone of all ages.
